The Bali Campaign, Summer, Reimagined

Our Bali campaign took place in a quiet part of the island. The villa, tucked away in Uluwatu, brought the true essence of summer living.

Our Bali campaign took place in a quiet part of the island. The villa, tucked away in Uluwatu, brought the true essence of summer living. Designed by a well-known architect, it’s a space built with high-quality materials, thoughtful details, and open space, a blend of classic design and tropical ease.

After our LA campaign, I knew I wanted to keep building the brand around real locations that reflect what Amara is about. I visited Bali before COVID (arguably the best time to have visited) and loved everything about it, the relaxed energy, the positive people, the affordability (for both tourists and locals), the natural beauty. There’s a kind of freedom here that’s hard to put into words but easy to feel.

This time, I wanted to launch two new classic watches, timeless designs that feel effortless and can be worn by both men and women. They’re staples. Nothing loud or trend-driven, just clean, minimal pieces that work with anything and can be passed down the generations.

My brother, Tom Beckles, has been a huge support from the start, helping with early content, modelling, even giving me advice on how to approach social. He was part of the LA campaign, and it felt right to bring him into this one too. We were lucky he was already in the region when we planned the shoot.

But I knew I needed someone else to round it out. Someone who felt aligned with the brand and had depth to their story, like Tom does.

That’s where Stephanie Mandich came in. She grew up between the Middle East and Australia and holds a double degree in chemistry and environmental science. She spends her time hiking, surfing, running, and sharing her passion for the planet. She’s smart, grounded, and lives with real intention.

I’ve become a bit obsessed with the idea of that never-ending summer. Effortless freedom, time slows down, and you feel like this is exactly where you're meant to be. It’s something I hope the brand always captures in some way. From LA to the French Riviera, Bali to the Caribbean, I want each chapter to feel like a moment in that kind of world, sun-drenched villas, late afternoon light, effortless style, and people doing things with purpose.
